Volunteer Charity Trustee
We are currently looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our management committee as a charity trustee. As a trustee for the Sussex Reptile Rescue Centre, you will play a vital part in ensuring the organisation meet the correct standards required by the Charities Commission.
Volunteer Fundraising/admin support
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and outgoing individuals to help research, develop and carry out fundraising opportunities for the SRRC. Fundraising is a crucial way for us to raise funds in order for us to work with the reptiles which come through our door.
**Because of the activities involved a Full, valid Drivers license is essential**
Essential qualities:
Previous experience in using Microsoft Office software; specifically Excel.
Honest and reliable
Happy to work alone or with others
Valid UK driving licence
Good communication skills
Desirable qualities:
Ability to use own initiative
Some of the things you’ll be doing:
- Researching potential grants, write bids
- Collecting our charity pots across different locations
- Organise fundraising events each year.
- Managing and keeping a record of any donations received.
- Cash handling and filling out associated paperwork
Foster Carers
We are currently looking for enthusiastic and outgoing individuals to join as a volunteer Reptile Foster Carer.
As a Foster carer you will give short/long term care to a variety of reptile species including:
- Bearded Dragons
- Ball Pythons
- Crested Geckos
- Leopard Geckos
and more while we look for a new home.
You will need to ensure you understand the proper care these reptiles require as each species have unique requirements, You will also need to have appropriate housing to accomdate.
Training/guidance can be given.
